At 35 weeks pregnant, your baby weighs the same as a small melon. Their body length is 45 cm, and they weigh approximately 2,150 kg.
The amount of vellus hair on your baby's skin is decreasing, while hair is developing on their head. Your baby hears and responds to sounds well, distinguishes their mother's voice from other people's, is sensitive to changes in lighting, and can smile.

Your movement and normal activities are becoming increasingly difficult. Your lungs are running out of space, and you feel as if all your internal organs are being compressed.
At 34 weeks pregnant, you may experience shortness of breath. Your baby is sitting high in your belly, pushing your lungs and diaphragm upward. They haven't yet descended into your pelvis, so there's a catastrophic lack of space in your midsection.

Important! If you notice blood on your underwear, or if your discharge becomes very heavy and watery, or if you experience severe abdominal and pelvic pain or a severe headache, go to the hospital immediately.
