The song is 'Mad World', originally written by Roland Orzabal in 1982, and recorded with bassist Curtis Smith as Tears for Fears, a band which would produce many hits including 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' and 'Sowing the Seeds of Love'.
This cover version of Mad World was produced in 2003 by Gary Jules and Michael Andrews.
