For the first time ever Tridium Niagara Framework is built to run in Ubuntu 20.04 In this video I'll show you how to get that installer to work for Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish.

after downloading and extracting installer .zip

edit install_common.sh

find and replace 20.04 with 22.04

$ sudo apt install tofrodos

$ sudo bash install.sh

** For Platform Access **
****************************

edit as root /etc/pam.d/common-password

edit the line to read:

password [success=2 default=ignore] pam_unix.so obscure sha512

save and reboot

now change the password of the user that is running niagara workbench

reboot

now you will have platform access.
