Visiting Dia Beacon...
This is long overdue. I finally was able to visit Dia Beacon in Beacon New York and it was absolutely incredible. In this video you'll see highlights from Dia's permanent collection including (but not limited to) works by Richard Serra, Louise Bourgeois, Larry Bell, Andy Warhol, Felix Gonzalez-Torres and more. It really was such a special experience and I'm so grateful to be able to share it with you all.
CORRECTION: in the video I say that the work by Louise Bourgeois is part of her Maman series. This is incorrect, it is part of a series of spider sculptures that she began in the early 1990s but the work shown, Crouching Spider, 2003, is not part of the Maman series.
I hope you had a wonderful Summer, and I'm SO excited to share all of the incredible Fall exhibits in New York with you that are kicking off this week so stay tuned for that!
