Exploring Vigo | Spain | Disabled Traveller
Join us for our second day at the sunny Spanish Port of Vigo. I experienced another eventful disembarkation off the Cruise Ship at the main terminal. We show you the accessible way out of the terminal, and the accessible route to Vigo's Old Town. We hit our first tourist shop, close to La Colegiata de Santa Cruz (a cathedral) before we head into the main shopping area of Policarpo Sanz, seeing the Merman sculpture
We then head back and discovered more tourist shops had opened, all be it a lot of stairs to reach them, before heading back to the dockside area and seeing the sleeping sculpture and the Jules Verne sculpture.
Back on board the ship, we have a spot of lunch in the Royal Palace after which we explore deck 14 and see the beauty of Vigo from aboard the ship. We then head to the front of the ship for sail away, having a chat with John, and hear the Disney Horns playing.
Formal Night Dinner was at Royal Palace where Donald has a scare. We end the evening seeing our fourth Towel Animal left on our bed by our stateroom host, and Pauline sees another cruise ship from our Stateroom balcony.
