White Bass Spawn
White Bass are getting ready to spawn in the next few months and I can’t wait! As it gets warmer towards the end of February/March white bass swim up tributaries from lakes to lay their eggs. As they wait for the right conditions they stack up in staging areas getting ready to head up stream. The smaller males usually lead the way looking for the perfect beds for the females to lay their eggs. The season is always a blast to fish and once you find where the Bass are stacked up you can usually catch one after another. This footage is from the 2022 spring spawn. I hope you enjoy!
We like to use an 8 ounce jig with either a 1.5” to 3” sliders to target these bass
