Lakewood 007 Kool Operator | Initial Checkout
The initial checkout of a Lakewood Kool Operator fan model 007. This is one of the later models they produced, likely from the mid 2000s era during one of their last years of operation. The unit features the physically smaller PSC motor and the infamous Brace Blade.
These models seem to take a lot of grief from collectors, and while there are certainly a lot of cost-cutting measures present, Lakewood still managed to produce a reasonable product.
I was very pleasantly surprised by the noise level and power output. It's quite a strong fan at a relatively low volume. The power draw is very reasonable compared to the older PSC models, and while the motor may not withstand the amounts of abuse the older ones could take, it will certainly last a good long time if taken care of to any reasonable degree.
