Greenlite and TCP 60w Equivalent CFLs and Sunbeam DEL Box
Testing 2 60-watt equivalent CFLs that came in a Sunbeam branded DEL box. One of the CFLs is branded Greenlite, which I've never heard of, and the other is the known brand TCP. These are more decorative style CFLs with the glass enclosure to make it look like a basic incandescent bulb.
Both CFLs are working properly and output good quality light. These are probably older units as they take a considerable amount of time to get up to operating brightness.
As with most of the LED boxes I've seen, the energy savings and money savings claims are grossly inflated as the comparison is made against incandescent bulbs, rather than CFLs. I believe the comparison should be made against CFLs, as that was the previous lighting standard prior to LED and what most people were using. Quite often when I find these LED boxes at the thrift stores, they contain CFLs which were most likely replaced with the LEDs.
