Abstract Painting With MODELING PASTE | Abstract FOR BEGINNERS!
When experimenting with a new technique, tool, or texture I like to figure it out by working it into a project.
In my attempt to make an abstract painting with modeling paste I made this painting that I have since dubbed "Election Month".
Modeling paste is opaque and as the name suggests moldable. This was the first full painting I did with modeling paste so I still have much more to learn in way of how to use it better but I think this one turned out pretty good.
Once the paste is dry you can carve or sand it to shape it how you want it. There are several different types of modeling pastes to try too. The one used in this video is the flexible modeling paste.
