Lately I've been experimenting with vanishing points and perspective. This abstract painting employs the use of a single vanishing point.
It was an idea that sort of came to me once I started painting the diagonals in. Sometimes when ideas like that strike you just have to run with them!
Even as an abstract painter it's good to exercise the use of things like shape, form, and perspective. Sharpening these foundational skills will lead to better results.
