In this video, I talk all about Creativity with my friend, Dr. Mary Lou Davis, who taught a course on Creativity at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the USA.

I’ve edited our conversation into a series of three videos and this is the first one. We start out exploring what it means to think of yourself as a Creative person and what it means to be a Creative Professional.

Along the way, we accidentally veer into the topics of why making bad art is so important for making good art, and how it's possible to forge a non-traditional pathway into life as an artist.

In the next video, we talk about what helps you be creative, what gets in the way of creativity, and how we can nurture creativity in others. Watch part two of the interview here:    • What Helps you be Creative?

In the final video, we talk about how sharing personal stories in our artwork can help connect us with others. We also explore wabi-sabi - the beauty that lies in imperfection. Watch part three of the interview here:    • Wabi-Sabi: Beauty Lies in Imperfection

Videos are released casually. Subscribe today and click the bell icon to be notified when there’s a fun new video to watch.
