Earlier this year Jesse approached me with a desire to create something together and offered to style the hair for the shoot. I was thrilled and immediately agreed because it had been far too long since I last did any creative project, and I was in a creative slump. The idea of incorporating a bird's nest into the hair came to me instantly. I’ve had this idea for a while but was uncertain about how to bring it to life. I previously worked with Melanie and offered her to be our model. We traveled to Jesse's studio in New Jersey and captured the photos in his backyard during the sunset in early spring. The timing was perfect as I specifically wanted bare branches in the backdrop for this concept. Thank you Jesse and Melanie. You did an amazing job, and this photoshoot wouldn't have been possible without you.
