Hey guys!
Here’s a little compilation of guitar covers I’ve made :) I spent a week and a half putting it together. Even though there’s no particular theme around it, most of the tracks here are from 90’s indie rock bands. The artwork is also by me (it may not be the most beautiful piece of art you’ve ever seen, but I made it from scratch and with all my heart haha)
Browsing through YouTube feels truly dystopian recently, most of the background music playlists are 100% AI generated (both the music and the artwork) and it’s a real disaster on so many levels. So I thought I’d make this little unmonetized project with authentic guitar squeaks, kitchen noises from my beloved wife, loud breathing because I’m so focused on my take, and cats destroying the Christmas tree in the background :) It may not save the world, but at least it’s super genuine, and it’ll hopefully help you relax, focus or whatever you want to achieve :)
The last few months have been a bit rough, and I haven’t made much music. This little compilation is my way to slowly get back to it. I truly enjoyed working on this, and I hope it shows!
Don’t forget to check out the original songs if you enjoyed these covers! Thank you so much for still listening to my music—it truly means a lot.
Oh, and by the way, happy new year! I wish you guys the best!
P.S. I’ve used AI artworks on a couple of videos in the past (the ‘grunge guitar playlist’ ones and the ‘late office hours’ one). I thought it was all fun and games at the time, but now I regret it. I’d rather draw lame artworks myself from now on :)
