NINA DE BRITTO became hooked on music through childhood Disney movies, but her musical career really began with middle school choir, which led to piano lessons and self taught guitar and ukulele sessions in high school. It wasn’t until college that she started seriously writing her own music. Writing music is both entertainment for herself and an outlet for her feelings; it’s icing on the cake if other people enjoyed it too. She draws inspiration from all over - a quote, feeling, or an experience. Words or phrases in lists are then pieced together to make a song. Currently, Nina is an Interdisciplinary Studies senior at Texas A&M, and plans on moving to Austin in August to teach elementary school, and continue to write, record, and play music.
