Subscribe to the channel so you don't miss the testing of this brake; I'll definitely film it in a month.
Let me start by saying that a trailer with a permitted maximum weight over 750 kg and up to 3,500 kg belongs to the "O2" category—the international classification.
Such a trailer must be equipped with a braking system (in Russia, only the inertial (mechanical) type, also known as a rolling brake, is currently certified; some call it a cable-operated system...).
The operating principle is as follows: When the vehicle brakes, the trailer inertia pushes (presses, rolls) onto the towing hitch ball of the vehicle's towing hitch. A spring is installed inside the overrun brake mechanism (or, simply put, the clutch head). When compressed, it transmits force to the lever and brake cables, which, in turn, through the brake force regulator (distributor), spread the brake shoes in the drums.
The price of the documents is 15,000 rubles.
The price of the levers is 16,000 rubles.
The price of the overrun brake is, I think, about 15 rubles, maybe even cheaper.
Let me know what you think, I answer everyone.
