VALUE Function convert a text string that represents a number into a number. VALUE function will convert text that appears in a recognized format (a number, date, or time format) into a numeric value.

=VALUE(text)
The VALUE function has four arguments.
Text : The text enclosed in quotation marks or a reference to a cell containing the text you want to convert.
