Is Trap Metal REALLY Metal?
Hey there, Review Family! This is a topic I've thought about recently in regards to Trap Metal as a genre. Artists like BVDLVD, XXXTentacion, Scarlxrd & nothing,nowhere...do you believe they classify under Trap Metal, or at least some of their tracks, or are you a believer in them being something else entirely?
Does the definition fit properly like a glove, or is it semi-false advertising? Has Trap Metal drifted too far from its two source materials?
Surely some wear their influences more on their sleeves, and many respect metal as a genre...but how much relation do they have TO metal, and to trap?
