John Deere 455 54" Deck Rebuild (Part 3 of 3)
Okay, the final installment of this video series is here and the deck looks like it will be good for another 25-30 years easy...as long as I live to 75 or 80...I guess. I would recommend using the John Deere Parts Catalog for any parts you need, they have the diagrams and part numbers. I was able to source them all just fine. Yes Deere is proud of their parts, but getting the parts from Deere does provide an easy route and it's not terribly more money. The bulk of the project was sand blast and powdercoat for about $180. Whole project was probably under $300.00
