Prison to Premier | Our Recovery Program
The Recovery Program at Premier Mounts exists to give men and women a second chance at life who have been through years of incarceration, homelessness or drug abuse.
Partnering with New Wine Church in Fullerton, we offer jobs to those who are ready to take the next step in their life. Because of criminal backgrounds or long work history gaps, this program provides a strong foundation for work history and greatly changes the path of those who would otherwise have a hard time finding a job.
People in this intensive Recovery Program at New Wine Church are there for 1 year and are focused on meeting their life goals during this time of transition back into society. At about the 6 month mark, or whenever leaders feel they are ready, they are encouraged to find a job.
Over the past 10 years, Premier Mounts has employed 12 people from the Recovery Program and currently employs 4; Robert, Frankie, Jason and Alex. From 30+ years in prison to almost 10 years of homelessness, you will hear their story on how they came to Premier and why our Family is so important to them.
