PowerTips LIVE: Installing TLS Security Certificate
Server Technology’s PRO1/PRO2 PDUs provide access to powerful features via their intuitive and rich Web UI. The PRO1 and PRO2 PDUs use a secure TLS communication channel during the encrypted session. Each comes with a factory-installed security certificate but also supports installing user security certificates. Using the factory-installed self-signed certificate for web browser access to the PDUs will display the message “Not secure and invalid certificate authority.” After logging in, the landing page will display a warning to upload a trusted server identity certificate. Resolving these messages requires installing a signed TLS certificate from the certificate authority (CA). We encourage admins to attend this session to learn more about the TLS security certificate on PDUs and different ways to mitigate these messages.
