Here are some affiliate links to things I'm using in this video:
RUG HOOKING
https://amzn.to/2DRrnKt (basic rug hook for primitive strips - meaning #5-#8 - anything but tiny)
https://amzn.to/30fBRut (rug hook with a smaller head for hooking smaller strips and thin yarn)
https://amzn.to/32kUPTb (linen backing from Dorr Mill)
https://amzn.to/2WpR2jP (monk's cloth backing)
https://amzn.to/3fEUTRu (good simple, sturdy solid yarn that's not expensive but great)

PUNCH NEEDLE
I use just these two punch needle - the fine for my thinner yarns and strips, and the larger for my thicker yarns and wider strips. There are a LOT of needles but I find I need one regular (big eye) and one fine (small eye) and these two make the same 1/4" pile (height of loop). Together these two make an even surface, and you're able to use pretty much any thickness of yarn between them.
https://amzn.to/32uK2pH (Punch Needle #13 fine - the Mini with Heels - this will do your thin #3 wool strips AND thin yarns like the sock yarns I often use)
https://amzn.to/2DLcp8x (this is the larger-eyed punch needle that's good for thicker yarn, like bulky, and wider strips)
