Quick test/example of sending drums out of Ableton and into a Tascam M-06 mixer.
SETUP INFO (for science)
The first 4 channels on the M-06 are receiving audio from a Traktor A10 interface (although only channels 1 and 2 are in use in this example).
Channel 5 and 6 are used for returns of the 2 external effects.
The M-06 only actually has one effect channel which is connected to the Bandive Accessit Spring Reverb. Audio is sent to it from the blue dial on each channel, so returning the effects onto audio channels means that: a)the reverb can be fed back into itself, creating a beautiful feedback loop; and, b) it can also be applied to the second effect, which is the Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Boy BBD delay.
Because the first four channels of the M-06 have direct (cue) outputs, those can be sent to another effect (which is where the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy comes in). These cues are going into a 4 channel ART micro mixer which enables the amount of each send to be controlled directly via the channel volume dial.
