Ukraine continues to take territory and Russian settlements in the Kursk region and shows every intention of digging in and holding this Russian territory for the long term. Russia is struggling to contain Ukraine's breakout in the region as the Kremlin is already looking for people to blame and explain to the Russian people how they failed them.
