HSBC: caught funding forest destruction
Caught on camera. This footage shows bulldozers destroying beautiful rainforest in Indonesia. The palm oil company behind these bulldozers is part of the Salim group, which borrowed millions of pounds from HSBC.
This destruction is beyond worrying - a quarter of Indonesia’s rainforest has already been destroyed in the last 25 years.
