He has his undergrad degree in History Education from East Carolina University, his Masters in History and Historiography from University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he is a National Board Certified Teacher and is also licensed in both EC (Exceptional Children) and AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted) teaching practices.
