Nintendo Switch Odd Fan Noise
Posting to help others troubleshoot this issue.
It was a bad bearing in the fan. System wasn't even a day old. Nintendo wanted to repair, which takes 2-3 weeks, so I returned it to the store and bought a new one.
Word of caution, as of me uploading this video, there is no way to transfer save files to the MicroSD card. Saves are saved onto the internal memory, not the microSD card or the game card. In order to save your game saves and other user data, you need to "Transfer" your entire User from the old system to the new system using the "Transfer User Data and Saves" option in Settings -- Users USERNAME. This requires both systems to be present at the same time and functional. So if you go the route of a replacement, try to get the seller to send you the replacement system before you have to send back the broken one.
