PearDeck - Schoology Integration
How to use the Pear Deck integration in Schoology Enterprise.
NOTES:
Pear Deck can be integrated into Schoology so that the lesson appears on a Schoology page. It’s a great way to present your slides for an asynchronous assignment. If you enable grading, Pear Deck will award points for completing the assignment, but it does not grade the responses. It is just for “completion” but it does add some accountability to the work.
Pear Deck does not automatically grade student responses to questions. It WILL award points for completing the Pear Deck assignment if you have enabled grading when setting up the Pear Deck in Schoology. This step is shown in this video tutorial.
Students will need to click the SUBMIT WORK button at the end of the Pear Deck in order to get credit for completing the work. Pear Deck does not verify the work has been done, so it is possible for students to just skip to the end and click the button to get "completion credit."
