In this video, I give an overview of a custom 2G/"EDGE" GSM cellular base station I set up using a Nuand BladeRF x40 full-duplex SDR, along with the open-source "YateBTS" software. After associating some SIM cards with the BTS software, I was able to get 3 old GSM cell phones connected to the network, with everything functional including calls, SMS, and even "EDGE" GPRS cellular data!
