The Blukit pressure-alternating valve for water tanks is a product designed to increase water pressure in your plumbing system. This valve directly transfers the water pressure from the public water supply to your plumbing system. Together with the float valve, it keeps your water tank full and ensures the use of the highest available pressure in the system, using only the water coming from your water inlet. When the pressure from your water supply is reduced or decreases, the valve starts using water from your reservoir (water tank) at the pressure it already has; in other words, this valve does not generate pressure. It selects the water inlet with the highest pressure, maintaining higher pressure for faucets and showers without using electricity. This product is not an electric pressure booster; it works by transferring pressure from the mains.
Recommendations
It is recommended to install a pressure reducing valve before the water tank.
The shower valve is activated at a pressure of 0.5 kgf/cm² (5 m.c.a). For pressures exceeding 4 kgf/cm² (40 m.c.a), it is suggested to install a pressure reducing valve on the building's water supply line, regulated at approximately 1.5 kgf/cm² (15 m.c.a).
Application
It is a device that allows the pressure from the public water supply to overcome the barrier of the reservoir (water tank) and supply the installation with a comfortable pressure for system use.
Special Care and Precautions for Installation
It is activated from a pressure of 0.5 kgf/cm² (5 m.c.a).
For pressures exceeding 4 kgf/cm² (40 m.c.a), it is suggested to install a pressure reducing valve on the building's water supply line, regulated at approximately 1.5 kgf/cm² (15 m.c.a).
Install the overflow pipe (drain pipe) in the reservoir, with a diameter of 50mm (1 1/2").
Do not install on branches that have a discharge valve.
Install manually.
This product is not a pressure booster.
