Solidworks Drawing 2 Tutorial Using Cameyo
With the Covid-19 outbreak, I'm forced to introduce Solidworks to my students in a remote classroom setting. The following video will detail the steps of how to create a basic drawing within Solidworks, save it to Google Drive, then "turn in" the assignment via Google Classroom.
No matter what you draw in Solidworks, you’ll use these same 6 steps, repeated over and over, to eventually produce a final product!
1 - Click “Sketch Tab”
2 - Choose a Shape (square/line/circle)
3 - Choose the Plane you’d like to draw on (either front, top, right) for first sketch or any other side after the first sketch
4 - Draw the Shape
5 - Smart Dimension it (define how large you’d like the shape to be)
6 - Extruded Boss/Base (Make 3D) or Extruded Cut(if you’d like to get rid of something)
We are accessing Soliworks by logging in with Cameyo, which pushes the software out and makes it accessible through a web browswer!
