Planting Seedlings
The schedule I typically follow ⬇️
The first 3-4 days I place the seedlings outdoors in a shaded area for only a few hours, slowly increasing the duration. I make sure to pick days where it isn’t rainy or windy
The next 1-2 days I place the seedlings in sun but only for a few hours. You can also use a shade cloth from Bootstrap Farmer to make this process easier!
Slowly continue to increase the time in the sun.
Once the plants are fully introduced to the outdoors without issues, I plant them in the ground!
Check on your seedlings for signs of stress such as wilting, broken stems (due to wind), or discoloration in the leaves.
This process can be a little tedious if you have a lot of seedlings but Bootstrap Farmer 1020 trays make it a lot easier!
