Release king cobra back to Dong Nai reserve
During VSR's snake release journeys, it can be said that VSR is truly fortunate to be able to receive and support the release of a healthy king cobra like the one in the video below. It can be seen that this king cobra is extremely flexible and healthy by the way it interacts with its surroundings.
Currently, the King Cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is a snake species that belongs to group IB - threatened with extinction, and is strictly prohibited from being exploited and traded for commercial purposes. Thanks to the support of Mr. Trung, deputy head of conservation of Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve and the team of Them Bo Sat and The Snake Gang, VSR had an extremely complete reintroduction trip, contributing a part of their efforts in the work of protecting nature as well as preserving ecological diversity that is being increasingly eroded by us humans.
Once again, VSR would like to thank Them Bo Reptile, The Snake Gang and Dong Nai Cultural Nature Reserve for accompanying, supporting and collaborating with VSR in this project. We hope to see more in the future and have the opportunity to continue working and developing together to raise society's awareness and perspective on snakes as well as join hands in wildlife conservation, especially snakes.
