Sick American goldfinch in Sudbury MA
I took down all my birdfeeders today to minimize the chance of spreading whatever this poor little American Goldfinch has.
Apparently there is a sickness, like conjunctivitis that they can get? This little fella was so blind, he seemed indifferent to me standing only inches away from him. He struggled to find his way around, hovering in place at times, landing and searching on the deck of the house, and then this water dish (which I have also removed now).
