How we pulled off a low-budget basement finish on a 125-year-old house
For around $2500, we turned what had been a dark, scary basement into an open, cheery living space - and of course we had to include our usual dash of whimsy. Exposed brick, stained concrete floors, and bluestain pine trim and built-ins put the finishing touches on a remodel that helped us sell this investment property in 2018.
