For my wonderful friend, Choc, Happy Birthday. Tired of hearing it yet? Because I can keep going.
For you, I've worked hard on making this special gift for you. A collage of many memorable moments of ours, of which I hope you can recognize them all. And as an honorable mention, thank you to Kira for assisting me with this project. He helped me get ideas, choose the song, scenes, etc. He also sat with me to help me work on it while also brainstorming more ideas. Thank you Kira for your help, it helped me stay motivated to get this done.
I spent so many hours on this I don't even want to think about it. I spent an all nighter, drawing for 8 hours straight nonstop. Honestly, 100% worth it.
ALSO SHOUT OUT TO CLIP STUDIO FOR CORRUPTING MY FILE AND MAKING ME LOSE MY WORK. Early on in the animation the file corrupted and i lost all of it. THANKFULLY, since i was speaking to kira frequently about it, i was able to recover a video of the sketch and just... redraw what iIlost. so at the every least, the sketch was saved. from that point on i saved three different copies of the file each time I worked on it.
and FUN FACT, this file actually corrupted TWICE!! but thanks for Kira helping me stay on top of keeping the file saved and backed up, I was able to recover it. PHEW.
This animation gave me quite a few issues, but im really glad I pursued and got it finished. Love you Choc!
