FYI
i'm using XML for hikvision, because i tried Onvif not fast as XML did
and also i'm not using CGI because need SessionID which will always changing on every restart the Camera
for other Brand also have their own Protocol
Pretty much the same
or you can use Onvif because mostly IPCam now days support that protocol
