Concrete Hearth
This fireplace was in need of an update. The old stone hearths were stained and ugly, so I made new ones from concrete. I used reverse-cast glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFCI) for this project. It's much lighter, stronger and easier to handle than traditional concrete, with the bonus of being beautiful and silky smooth!
