steadicam SturdyCam - testing Canon 5D MKII
http://www.sturdycam.com Testing the Canon 5D. No Threaded Pipe Extension and Horizontal Shaft quite heavy against wind. Our design is a modified Wsclater project: again a universal joint but based on foam and no rigid connection to absorbe vertical jitters! At the beginning we also tried the yb2normal design, but in spherical jointes friction always changes, so you cannot find a same friction degree in two joints. After that we decided for a universal joint from boat model.
