Red Roses at Willow Pond
Getting back to plein air painting. A glorious spring morning today at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. As I was scouting for places to paint, the rose bushes at Willow Pond caught my eye. I'm glad I chose them, because they smelled fantastic and the pond provided a serene setting. I painted 2 quick studies, trying to keep things loose to capture the soft movement and energy.
