As an early adopter of the Gutenberg block-based editor, using blocks to edit and create content is a breeze for me now. I dove into designing and developing my first WordPress block theme a few weeks ago. I didn't anticipate that building block themes would have such a steep learning curve. There are growing pains. In this series of blog posts, I'll share the major steps in my journey, highlighting my biggest pain points.
