In Tower of Babel, eight wonders of the ancient world are waiting to be built. Players propose sections of the wonders to construct, and opponents can offer their help, which can be graciously accepted or refused — but they'll get points for everything refused! Accepting means letting them place pieces of their colour there, and when the wonder is complete, the player with the most will score the most points. Wonders built later are worth more points — but the game will end before all are finished!
Many of Reiner Knizia's most celebrated board games were originally published by Hans im Glück, including Samurai, Tigris & Euphrates, Modern Art and Amun-Re. Tower of Babel, from 2005, was the last notable game from this pairing.
