How to Set Up Joy-Cons as a Single Controller or Pair in Ryujinx - Nintendo Switch Emulator Tutorial
In this video, I'll show you how to set up your Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons as a single controller or "Joy-Con Pair" in Ryujinx, the Switch emulator.
Windows recognizes the Joy-Con left and right as two separate controllers, which are then passed through to Ryujinx. Unlike Yuzu, Ryujinx doesn't have a native feature to pair the two Joy-Cons together as a single controller.
That's where Steam comes in. We can use Steam to create a virtual XInput controller from the Joy-Con pair and then allow Steam to manage the input for Ryujinx by adding it to your Steam library.
Here's a quick start guide:
1. Connect both Joy-Cons to your Windows PC.
2. Launch Steam and add Ryujinx to your Steam library.
3. Enable Steam Input for Ryujinx.
4. Configure the controller settings within Ryujinx.
