Do I need a more powerful flash?
When should you upgrade your flash for something more powerful? It's a question that doesn't have a "one size fits all" answer unless you're regularly your flash close to it's maximum power.
I try and avoid running any flash past 1/2 power, so if I want more light I'll switch to a bigger, brighter portrait light.
