The colored modules belong to the Made in Italy line and are excellent for living spaces where a low visual impact is required. These modules are produced in our production site in Castegnato (Brescia). The coloring is obtained by treating the glass with pigmentation in nanotechnology, which guarantees a homogeneous and lasting aesthetic result.
Each photovoltaic module consists of various components:
BACKSHEET: it is an insulating support made of TPT (Tedlar-PET-Tedlar), a polymer resistant to UV rays.
ETHYLEN VINYL ACETATE (EVA): it is a thin layer of polymeric material that acts as an adhesive between the upper and lower layer.
CELLS: Made of silicon, a semiconductor material, they are electrically connected in series thanks to the ribbons, which are soldered from the top of one cell to the bottom of the next.
EVA: a second layer of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) guarantees perfect photovoltaic adhesion to the tempered glass.
GLASS: must be anti-reflective and uniform to allow the cells to absorb as much solar radiation as possible. It is the outermost part of the panel, made up of a 32 mm thick tempered glass plate, in order to resist external atmospheric agents.
FRAME: it is composed of an extruded aluminum profile that encloses the components that make up the laminate.
JUNCTION BOX: it is positioned on the back of the laminate and allows the panels to be connected to each other thanks to cables equipped with compatible MC4 connectors. Furthermore, it allows to improve the operation of the panel thanks to the bypass diodes.
Before framing and applying the junction box, all the other components are inserted into a laminator. Thanks to the vacuum pump and the temperature that reaches 150°, the EVA melts and fixes the parts together, isolating the photovoltaic cells to protect them from external deterioration agents.
