A2F Fall 2012 - AMV Contest Announcement
Guidelines
All entries must be submitted by 11/14 so the judges can accurately judge them. Late entries will not be allowed without prior approvals from the judging staff.
All entries must meet PG-13 Guidelines. Any entries with excessive violence or offensive language will immediately be rejected.
All entries should not exceed five minutes in length. There will be a small amount of time allowed over five minutes based on the decision of the AMV judging staff.
The AMV judging staff and A2F Chairman/Vice Chairman reserve the right to rejecting any entries they feel do not meet required standards.
In the description of your entry please state if it has won an award at any previous AMV contest and what award it received.
If you win an award and would prefer your real name and not your Youtube username to be placed on the certificate please send a message to the ArkansasAnimeFestival Private Message Box with the name you want placed on any certificates awarded.
AMVs will primarily be judged based on editing abilities other detail count towards the overall score but at a much smaller rate.

If you will not be able to attend A2F please let the judges know before the convention so they can arrange delivery of any certificates that you may win in the contest.
Possible Awards:
Master Editor Award - Awarded to either the best AMV to have won a 1st place equivilent prize in a previous contest, if ther are any applicable entries. If there are no applicable AMVs then this will be rewarded to the best overall AMV.
Journeyman Award - Awarded to either the best AMV to have won any award that is not a 1st place equivilent prize in a previous contest, if ther are any applicable entries. If there are no applicable AMVs then this will be rewarded to the second best overall AMV.
Novice Award - Awarded to either the best AMV to have not won any previous awards, excluding Judge's Pick awards, in a previous contest. If there are no applicable AMVs for Masters and Journeyman then this will be rewarded to the third best overall AMV.
