Designing Sounds In The Cloud
As part of the 12th International Audio Mostly Conference, London, 2017 I took part in a workshop titled Designing Sounds In The Cloud. The final hours of the workshop had us trying to build a system with the brief - "Live improvisatory performance, sensors and machine learning, performers/ choreographer, culture - specific emotions"
In this video we show how the Leap Motion can be used with machine learning using the Wekinator to trigger sound effects in Pure Data. Unfortunately we had no time to hook it up to the net and rip the sound effects from Freesounds.
