5 years ago I was diagnosed with Benign Fasciculation Syndrome (BFS). I mainly experiencing muscle twitching tics in my calf muscles. I have had twitching in my face, hand, legs, ear, eye lids, and chest. At first I thought it was ALS so I went to a neurologist but all the tests came back normal. I believe that my BFS was triggered by chronic high stress and anxiety. I do have hope that I can cure my BFS through calming my nervous system. I had a muscle twitch in my eye lid that I was able to stop after doing lots of meditation and relaxation exercises.
Currently there are no mainstream medical cures or treatments for benign fasciculation syndrome but I truly believe we can get this to go away with enough work on our central nervous system.
