The biggest party in Hobbiton (International Hobbit day) takes place On September 22nd each year at the Hobbiton film set near Matamata New Zealand. On international hobbit day, elves, dwarves, wizards, hobbits and beings from across Middle-earth arrive in Hobbiton to party.
