My guest this week is Anthony Lefear, Jr. (AJ) of @tripl.rvpark. AJ is a 36 year old entrepreneur from Texas City, TX. He is married to his true love Natasha Lefear and they have 3 children; Jackson, Anthony III (Tripp) and Logan. AJ and his wife own three RV Parks, two race tracks (auto racing), a coffee shop @darkroastco and a winery @blacksfairy. Anthony was raised with 6 other siblings by his mother, Stephanie Williams. Growing up in a single parent home watching his mother work hard to make sure he and his siblings had what they needed, Anthony made a promise to make sure to take care of his family as he left to study engineering at Baylor University.
After receiving his Bachelors in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Anthony moved to Dallas to work as an engineer in the telecom industry. While working full time, Anthony enrolled at the University of Texas in Dallas and received his Masters of Electrical Engineering. Upon graduating he was heavily recruited by defense companies and took a position in Oklahoma City for a large aerospace engineering firm. During his time there, Anthony worked and was focused on building a strong foundation for he and his family, failure was not an option. He purchased land out in Brazoria County (Texas) without knowing what would become of it and it was his father-in-law who suggested a RV park and he liked the idea. Starting from undeveloped ground and with no sponsors - just family, hard work and dedication, Anthony purchased a few RVs and rented them out.
From 2016 to the present Anthony’s vision has been steadily growing as he has a vision and then follows through with it, with his motivation being his wife, children, mother and siblings. His "crown jewel", TripL RV Park, now has 30+ sites, with custom built cabins, free cable, Wi-Fi, a laundry facility, a tour bus, several grills w/an outdoor kitchen at the pergola, camping tents, an outdoor projector and is constantly expanding. Anthony has said his family will always have a "home away from home" and each cabin is custom built and named after his mother and siblings. Anthony is a very inspirational and motivational young Black man who follows through with his visions and does what he say he will do and lives by his trademarked slogan, “If I can’t own it, I don’t want it.”
