Antikythera Mechanism: This artifact is crazy because it was made during a time when we thought that this kind of technology didn't exist! The Antikythera Mechanism was created to calulate astronomical positions and has never been mentioned in any Greek writings that we've seen. This is definitely a weird one. Saqqara Bird: This artifact is from ancient Egypt and is a small wooden bird sculpture with a wingspan of 7 inches. The reason why it was abnormal finding a bird in Egypt was because since it doesn't resemble any known bird from there scientists speculate that this could've been a model for an ancient Egyptian glider. 300 milllion year old screw: The earliest form of humans known to use and invent tools were the homo erectus and that was around 2.8 million years ago but this scree was said to have been on earth 300 million years ago. How could a screw have been made during a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth? were there a form of extremely early humans we don't know about or were we visited by ancient beings who left this behind? 100 thousand year old plug: Electrical plugs are a relativley early invention but one was found that's said to be 100 thousand years old. This plug was said to have the same strength as an open circuit and poised the questions of who made it and where did it come from? Nazca drawings: These drawings were made by the Nazca people and stretch over almost 25KM, the drawings depict things such as birds, monkeys, people and things we don't quite know what are. One thing that's hard to understand is how did the Nazca people make these drawings because unless they had some sort of direction from the sky how could they get them so accurate?
